I was in my local town today and popped into a few of my favorite posh shops and found some fantastic bargains.
Although they are last season’s pieces, they will still work this coming Spring/Summer because classics never date.
Always look for a bargain in the high priced independents – you will have a unique piece for the coming season.
I have just been into Hobbs to look at there last few remaining sale bargains.
There are still some great bargains and they are offering a further 10% on top of sale discounts on Thursday evening …hurry as this is your last chance to bag a bargain.
I bought a beautiful camel sweater – very classic – reduced from £59.00 to £24.00.
But while you’re there, have a look at their Spring / Summer collection …it’s fantastic! Hobbs always get it right and there’s a 10% discount on all new season stock.
I have also been informed by the lovely manager in Bury that they will be the only outlet in our region stocking a new occasion wear range.
I am not one to endorse food shopping and clothes shopping together. But check out this fab monochrome body sculptor dress from Asda £9.50 amazing.
It puts all your curves in the right places.
The spring /summer trends for this year are so varied there is definitely something for everyone.
Monochrome is a big look this season and vertical and horizontal stripes are really a big influence on the high street. And one I particularly love is the Little Black Dress and white stilettos with a white neck scarf, a great look for the summer and so achievable from your capsule wardrobe.
However if you don’t have these items:
- Think about your shape before you buy. There are some clever designs out there to hide and camouflage the post-Xmas pounds.
- Vertical stripes will always make you look taller: for petites a must. Block Patterns that are close together will always make you look smaller.
- Look out for white stilettos – a big look for summer – you can still find bargains from last summer that will be huge this summer!
