I have to say if ever a girl needed inspiration of what to wear .Just keep watching Lorraine Kelly a real 50 something with style .OK she has a little help from stylists but all her outfits are from the good old high street .Like this one from Coast a fantastic day to evening dress in cobalt blue .And girls there’s always the other Loraine if you need any help.
No need to look to shocking with this spring trend colour Tangerine just leave that to the fake tan…. Yellow is also big this spring add a splash of colour to a dark and dull winter wardrobe with a blouse or knitwear you will look bang on trend without looking like you tried to hard.
The key is to always look polished and well groomed!
Choose a jacket that’s right for your body shape: for pear or hour-glass figures, wear short and tailored; if you are apple-shaped, find a longer length jacket that stops at your thigh.
A crisp white blouse or a cotton mix twin set with a scoop neck is great – but not too tight and not too much flesh on show.
Skirts are fine but just make sure they are on the knee or just below, and trousers should be smart and tailored.
Find shoes in a sensible colour that match with anything – black, navy or brown, and a classic court shoe always looks more businesslike than an open toe shoe. Finishing touches are important so always keep them clean and not scuffed.
Tights are a must as bare legs are less appropriate at work – a natural colour for summer and a dark opaque for winter to wear with boots.
Keep jewellery to a minimum – just a splash of colour in a necklace but nothing too chunky and trendy. Some small coloured beads or pearls are fine.

I was in my local town today and popped into a few of my favorite posh shops and found some fantastic bargains.
Although they are last season’s pieces, they will still work this coming Spring/Summer because classics never date.
Always look for a bargain in the high priced independents – you will have a unique piece for the coming season.
